Streaked Flycatcher (Myiodynastes maculatus)

The Streaked Flycatcher is a bird pretty similar to the more widely seen Great Kiskadee, but with an entirely different coloration. It also prefers the dry forest, while the Great Kiskadee is found anywhere in the country. We saw this bird in a Birdwatching tour with Fundacion Rapaces de Costa Rica, on April 9th, 2017.
