Yellow Tyrannulet (Capsiempis flaveola)

The Yellow Tyrannulet is a small bird, member of the Flycatcher family. As their name implies, their body is yellow on the underside and olive on the upperside, with a black eye line and black wing feathers lined by yellow. This bird forages in small groups in dense vegetation, particularly close to bamboo forests like the ones found in Rio Frio. their song is very high pitched and normally when one bird starts to sing, the other ones in the group follow fashion and respond with the same song.
